The PAL Project
“Tinsair”, “DLR”, “BuckyB” and myself managed to create a database from scratch about ALL PlayStation 1 PAL (Europe, Australia & New Zealand) games containing ALL data you want to know!
Including information and sections:
- Name of Game
- SLES/SCES number
- Spine Number
- Developer
- Publisher
- Release Date
- Rarity
- Special Hardware Compatibility
- Description with game info, trivia, test reviews and ratings (simply all data interesting and fun to know)
- Special Release Variants
- PAL Country Release Variants (like the UK, France, German Spoken Countries, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Scandinavian Countries, Australia, New Zealand)
- Limited Editions
- Re-Releases (like ‘Platinum’, ‘White Label’,…)
You can imagine the amount of data this database already contains. We are fleshing out some sections at the moment and I expect this project to see a release in 2008. In published form like a book. A guide.
I will put up some info sometime soon so that you can see what I’m talking about.

Would be even better if rarity ratings could be added.
Diana, we also plan an online database complete with your suggested rarity ratings and we think about going online the first quarter of 2008.
I can’t wait for the online database to come out!
