Folks, it hit me like a freight train this mornin' but it's perfectly simple:

All “Resident Evil 2 Limited Edition Box Sets” which were purchased off eBay Germany have been found without the game itself.

Well, the game is on the index in Germany so that's why. They simply were not allowed to sell the box set WITH the game.

No other country variants have surfaced ever so I believe it to be a German exclusive (or German spoken countries to be correct).

I also have never seen the set offered on Austrian and Swiss eBay (or stores) and I believe it was never sold in these other two German spoken countries.

Conclusion:

A complete set (Box, T-Shirt, Pin AND Game) was not sold in Germany but you can make yourself one by winning the game on Austrian eBay and putting it in the box.

The PlayStation 1 PAL database lists the “Resident Evil 2 Limited Edition Box Sets” complete WITHOUT game. Add the game and you have a bonus
