I just noticed that I have not visited this site since January! I have embarked on my sealed collecting journey but it’s not easy even if I have the money. There is so little sealed games on eBay. I really doubt if I could ever achieve the goal even given time and money. What do you guys think? I contacted direct4games which is now discsunlimited (I think), they told me they have almost 800 PS games in stock and about 80% are sealed. Maybe I can buy the whole bulk from them and start from there. But their site is still not up yet and it’s difficult to get ahold on them.

Hello all, ive been looking for a PS1 collectors forum for a while now, only just found this site though. More into collecting games for sake of playing rather than collecting itself. Have bought and sold 100`s of PS1 games in my time im easy to find on ebay as firebreather117. Got more games than ive got time to play these days unfortunatly.
Also a keen megadrive and PS2 player

Hiyah Firebreather, welcome to the site. Its a little bit quiet around here at the moment as AtariBuff, Bucky and myself are all a bit busy however it will pick up soon as I have a load of new stuff to set loose on everybody as soon as I get time to throw it up on the site.
But please feel free to open up some discussions on games that you like to play, we like to discuss the games as much as we like to play them.

Hey guys. My names Morgy and I’m from England. I’ve recently started collecting PAL PS1 games. So far, I’ve only reached 31, but hope to get alot more eventually. Being only 14, and having a lack of experience with PS1 games, besides games from my childhood, does anyone have any suggestions for not-to-pricey collectable games besides the obvoius ones like Final Fantasy and so on ^_^?

Hi Morgy.
Welcome to the chaos.
As a little tip, if you haven’t already got it pick up The Grandstream Saga, thats a nice little game you can pick up pretty cheap.
But it really depends on what floats your boat as to what games to buy, to start off with you should buy what you want to play, and then progress to bigger and better games for the collection later.

Hi Morgy. My biggest tip is to buy very low - mis-listed on ebay, car boot sales, bulk auctions etc. Although I’m now forced into selling off the bulk of my collection, I’m making some serious profits.
I bought Wild Arms for ??2 at a boot fair and that’s just gone for ??14.50, so the pain of selling is somewhat eased. (plus I will be buying all this stuff back as soon as I win the lottery!)

I stumbled on your great site when i was looking for some ps1 related stuff really glad i found it! Ive just recently started collecting PS1 games it all happened after i picked up the 3 Syphon Filter games which im a big fan of and now im hooked !
