Hi guys my user name is coop1826 real name Richard im from New Zealand. Ive decided to collect PS1 games as this was the first gaming console i owned.I got hooked on link games DOOM & WIPEOUT being my favourites.I think i have 2 copies of all pal black label link games & about 10 ntsc ones. I have since moved onto Racing car,flight,space,shootem ups & lightgun games & more.I wonder where it may stop!I have about 500 games & 70 full promos. Your site is very cool & i will be checking your rear cover photos to make sure that i have all pal link games,as i cant find a list on the web. Yes like the others look foward to your rarity guide.Although I do wonder how you make the judgement of whats rare & whats not.I guess it is just that a judgement.

Hi Richard,
Welcome to the site.
Its a little quiet around here at the moment but that will change soon as I have some big updates planned for over the Christmas break.
As far as how rarity is decided, well AtariBuff can tell you more but with the knowledge we have from the members of this site we can work out a rough idea of how hard it is to obtain the games.
Also please do not feed Bucky after midnight and make sure AtariBuff doesn’t try to grab your leg.

Welcome Richard,
I will post a list of all PS1 PAL LINK games tomorrow (or maybe Bucky gets to our database earlier).
Rarity is decided on many factors and we examine the whole market since like 2003. There are some things like local rarity but I think we can pinpoint rare titles (and the reasons therefore) pretty good.

Hi, my name is Diana. I am an avid sealed game collector. For reasons I cannot explain, there is something about PAL playstation seals that I find very beautiful. I told people on another forum that I want to undergo the craziest venture of collecting a complete set of sealed PAL playstation game, meaning getting a sealed version of one of each game but not counting cover and country variants. That is about 1400 games in total. I know it is highly impossible as many games are not available sealed anymore but I still want to try.
What makes it tougher is that I live in Hong Kong so sometimes it is very difficult to persuade seller to ship abroad. Even it they do, shipping could be costly.
I find this site very helpful and I really look forward to the rarity guide. I will definitely buy one if it is in printed format when it comes out.
A question for Ataribuff: do you have every PAL playstation games that were released?

Hi Diana, welcome to the site. That is some task you are trying to achieve but that is why we do this collecting, to make the seemingly impossible possible.
its good to see someone else with an unhealthy opinion on something on PAL PS1 stuff, I find the smell of a freshly opened PlayStation console slightly erotic myself. (Did I type that out loud?)
And to answer your question, yes AtariBuff does have a complete PAL PlayStation collection, every game that was released that we know of. I am getting closer to that goal as well, and so is Bucky I believe.
Well welcome to the site. We will start keeping a look out for sealed games and see if we can’t help you achieve your goals.

welcome to our humble site. We are working very hard on the PS1 PAL database and are eager to go online with it when we fleshed out the technical construct.
As Defcon already answered: yes, I have a complete PlayStation 1 PAL collection with many country variations and most of the limited editions.

It is so awesome that Ataribuff has ALL games released, every single one of them, my hat is off to him completely.
Sadly, I only have a couple of sealed games to kick off my collection. Do you guys have any advice for me as to where I can buy some sealed games besides Ebay?
I am already hunting games from Ebays of many different European countries.
