Sorry about that, the dot was added to the adress link by accident. If you remove the dot the link should work. Sorry I can’t edit the post it seems.
@AtariBuff
No worries, feel free to ask what you’d like to know about my collection.

Hi,
It’s DLR from Finland here. First of all sorry, I haven’t been around these parts for some time so there’s a bit catching up to do. My studies and part-time job take most of time and energy at the moment.
I mostly collect PAL Master System, Saturn and the “bread and butter” PS1 games. As a student I haven’t got much cash to spend so the progress is hideously slow. For the moment I’m concentrating on finding the rare PS1 games while they’re still cheap and hope to have some luck along the way with the more expensive ones. I hope some day to have every PAL PS1 game in some kind of form.
Oh, and I collect Treasure games, too, so give me a shout if you have an obscure variation of Light Crusader or something.

Wow, may I present DLR - one of the main guys responsible for what the PlayStation 1 PAL database is today. I’m proud to have you here! Enjoy yourself and post often, Turkka!!!!

Hi DLR, welcome to the site.
Please be aware that being a student your math skills will be tested every time you post. If you need help do not ask the Buffster, he is useless

Hello! I??m a 19 years old video game collector from Sweden. First of all, I will have to apologize for my poor english, but I hope you will understand me anyway
I think this site is great! I thought I was the only Pal Playstation 1 collector out there!
One thing that would be nice, is a rarity guide for the pal games =)
Thanks for making this website!

Hi there, welcome to the madhouse. Please do not feed Bucky after midnight, you wouldn’t want to see what happens. And don’t let AtariBuff near any sharp objects, he likes to stick them up his nose.
I am sure you will fit right in.

Hi guys. My name is Luke. I’m 24 years old, and from Australia. I’ve been collecting PS1 games for about 3 months.
This is in fact my second collection, having first collected PS1 games as a teenager, I sold them all off when I left high school (lord, how I regret that now). I had about 130 or so games then, I’ve just 86 in my collection now, plus 7 recent eBay purchases that should be arriving this week or the next.
My financial situation is a little unstable of late, so my budget for collecting games has declined a bit, so I spend my time and money buying up various common titles and anything I can get cheaply, in the meantime. I try to keep my PS1 spendings to below $50 per week, at least until I get a new job! (*sigh*)
Last week I bought a domain and began working on a little site to showcase my PS1 collectings, but then I stumbled across this place and decided to put all that aside, at least for now. I’m a terrible web-designer anyway, and you guys seem to have the PS1 stuff down-pat!
Well, I look forward to discussing all things PS1 with you guys.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Its much appreciated.
The PS1 market in my area is almost non-existant. I live in a small town in NSW Australia, and the only decent game store in town is EBGames.
The local K-mart and Big W stores have a respectable range of current-gen console games, but none of that interests me! Maybe I’ll get a Wii when Super Smash Bros Brawl comes out and a PS3 when Grand Theft Auto IV comes out. Until then, I stick with my beloved PS1 (and PS2!)
I like a wide assortment of genres, and never stick to a particular series. I try to avoid buying Platinum titles when I can.
There’s a lot of great Aussie sellers on eBay, (gamerz_bunker, bayers_trading, toruneko_tradingland, just_you_wait … just a few I can recall from recent memory). The trouble is finding great games at bargain prices, which is becoming increasingly difficult probably due to Christmas approaching.
There’s some pretty fierce competition on eBay Australia. For example, last week I spotted an ex-rental copy of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for $8au BIN on eBay. I went to the kitchen for coffee and by the time I got back, someone else had got it!
I have a pretty long wish-list full of games and stuff I want, but I’d rather not divulge it just yet (its so long its embarrassing.) =[
I guess the main things I’m hunting for currently are:
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
Tobal No.1 (w/ the FFVII Sampler Disc)
Bishi Bashi Special
Star Ocean: The Second Story
Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions
Legend of Dragoon (why does this game always seem to go over $100au on eBay?) =[
Here’s a list of all the games I currently own, minus of course some things I’m expecting in the mail:
My PS1 games list
I have a lot of demos too, but I’ve yet to sort those, and some probably don’t work anymore as they’ve been floating around in a box for the last 7 or more years! I have pile of about 25 OAPSM magazines too. Had at least 15 others in a box somewhere but I’ve conveniently misplaced it.
My website… (I may regret showing this later), its just a few ugly pages with a lot of broken links, and just 2 games featured. To be fair, I threw the layout together in about 2 hours and updated it twice since then.
My poor website… Be gentle to it

what a great market evaluation you gave there! I also noticed competition to be a bit fiercer on ebay.au - but I managed to grab some pretty decent stuff from your side of the world
Visited your webpage and your have-list. Keep both going - there is plenty to collect and display out there Also feel free to post some pics here in the forum.

Hi Home, welcome. So you couldn’t stay away from PS1 huh? You should have just stashed your collection away until now
