Money’s a bit tight so close to Christmas, so my budget this week has dropped dramatically.
The Granstream Saga
Battle Arena Toshinden 3 PRESS DISC
Ace Combat 2 PRESS DISC
Kurushi PRESS DISC
Crash Bandicoot PRESS DISC
Parappa the Rapper PRESS DISC
Got the 5 press discs in one auction. There isn’t any other items with them, and I don’t know if there’s supposed to be. I just wanted to play some Kurushi again. I blew away months of my life on that game back when I was 16, so I’m looking forward to re-living my youth!
Also got these:
Tobal No.1 - NTSC-Japan (with the FFVII Sampler disc)
Arc the Lad Collection - NTSC-Japan
Legend of Dragoon - NTSC-US GH (sealed)
The Legend of Dragoon game… I feel silly for getting it actually. The seller had images clearly showing the non-GH version of the game, and I didn’t realize until after that a part of the description stated “Greatest Hits Version”. It really should have been made clearer, but I fell for it, so I can’t complain now. Oh well…
And for the stuff i purchased last week, everything arrived so far except Ball Blazer Champions. I’ve a few small disappointments:
Jersey Devil: Missing the guide AtariBuff mentioned
Incredible Crisis: Missing front inlay, and the rear inlay appears smaller than the case. Its in a regular fat case, but it kinda looks like its supposed to be in one of those slightly-shorter fat cases (i.e. Jonah Lomu Rugby, Die Hard Trilogy, Lifeforce Tenka, are some examples with that case)
I’m currently on track to winning some nice looking copies of Namco Museum Vol.3 and Starsweep (Yay!), and after that, I’m going to stop buying PS1 games for a while. Not sure for how long I’ll be on hiatus, but we’ll see.
In fact, I plan to go on a selling spree. I need to get rid of my Mega Drive collection (51 games), and some other stuff.

I felt the same when I first played the Kurushi demo - on ‘Demo One’, that came with my very first Playstation console. I still have that demo!
I was completely clueless at first, but then a friend loaned his copy of the game to me, and after an hour or so I was addicted, and loved Kurushi to bits. Its definitely one of the best puzzle games I’ve ever played.
In other news, I just lost that Namco Museum Vol.3 auction. Dammit! But I did get Starsweep (another fun puzzle game) for $10.94au including postage. That’s officially the last PS1 game I plan on buying for the rest of the year, at least.

Yes and yes.
Unfortunately BoF4 and Koudelka had no manuals
And as for Darkstone… no disc
I’m sending the seller an email about that.

That Disney Learning titles are on the rare side for sure. I remember looking for them like crazy two years ago when I tried to complete my collection.
Did your Darkstone also come in a regular CD jewelcase, coop?

To be honest, I have a fairly limited budget (due to the growing family!) and really begrudge paying expensive postage. I generally only bid on those charging under ??2 for shipping within the UK. When I sell games I only charge ??1.60 and that still covers the ebay fees as well. Anything else takes the mickey in my view.
