Hi guys,The legend of dragoon press kit.Im considering bidding on this as i already have this in 4disc black label & the 4 disc full promo.Id be interested what you guys think.Is this a little dear as i only paid 23pounds for promo disc & $70 NZ for the game.

in my opinion nobody would bid on this press kit.
It is way too expensive.
And hey…what’s so special on this press kit?? The press CD, the grotty looking box or the cheap case which you can also find at a garbage dump.
There is nothing special…if the press kit has a nice figure, a special soundtrack or a nice artbook I would also have a look.

Hi Hardy fair comments i feel,and i do agree price is way over the top.50 pounds start would be closer to the mark.As for the post cost absurd.For that price it should be free.But hey i collect promo discs which most people think is weird.

Guys, after a lot of soul searching and the realisation that I haven’t played about 50% of my collection, and I’m not likely too until the kids leave home in about 18 years, most of it is now up for sale.
I hope I get the buy it now, but I’m open for offers from ??2k plus. I will start listing in smaller lots if it doesn’t go, but obviously that will be a real pain in the arse.
The good news though: I am still a collector, but purely from a playing point of view. I’m keeping the PS2, PSP and Neo Geo pocket, plus games for these systems (about 25 PS2, mostly role players, all my Neo Geo and about 8 PSP) and a few choice PS1 titles I haven’t completed yet (like Wild Arms).
So, I’ll still be hanging around here looking for advice on rare bargains, but I won’t be buying evry game under the sun just because it’s only a quid. I’ve got an hour a night to play games and an hour and a half a day on the train, and it’s going to be spent on quality!
Please feel my pain though…

Can you tell me the which sealed PS2 and PS1 games do you have?

PS2 are Paparazzi, LMA Manager 2004 and Jet Ion GP. There’s also a sealed demo of High School Musical.
PS1 are Dinomaster Party, LMA Manager 2001 Scottish Edition and Kiss Pinball.
Also got NHL ‘96 for the Genesis sealed and three Japanese Saturn titles.

Dude its a real shame you have to sell but I have actually been through it myself recently so I know what you are feeling.
As a suggestion you really should do some images on that auction, I know I wouldn’t drop 3k on something without an idea of what it looked like. Also get over to http://www.gamesniped.com and post it on their forums. They might main page you and that would mean a lot of viewers of the auction. Also listing the games would be worth it, I know its a hassle but its what people are buying so they want to know what it is.
Lastly yes I did start this post with dude. Cowabunga!

Thank you Master Splinter! Images will be coming, and I have now listed every game (I didn’t realise you could copy from excel into the browser!).
Thanks for the heads up about Gamesniped.
It is a shame, but I might as well only have 30 or so games I’m going to play and a load of cash in the bank!

I am really sorry to hear that you have to sell your collection… You do have guts, if I had to sell my collection that would mean I would commit suicide the next few days (and to be honest this is not just a joke…). I don’t know how you feel about this but from my perspective it’s a pretty tough decision to make. I seriously hope you come back as a serious collector some day. Good luck with your auction, I hope it scores a high price.

Thanks Saturn. It came down to having it sitting on the shelf and looking gorgeous, or having cold, hard cash - not easy, but when you’ve got two kids it’s the sensible thing to do.
Anyway, it’s still going to be a huge passion and I will still be playing loads of PS1 and 2 - I’ll just be fogging them after I’ve done!

Right guys, ebay cancelled my bulk listing three hours before it finished because I put in there about paying extra if using Paypal. Anyway, a bit of a result, because I’d had no offers (I knew I was asking top end) and they refunded my insertion fees!
So, I’m going to list the best stuff individually first, then small bulk lots, then the consoles. Should hopefully make a fair bit this way, it will just take longer.
By the way, I’m not going to be listing my PS1 or 2 demos - this is my new focus for collecting. All the rest is going though, so take a hike over to my “seller’s items” page and add me to your favourites - it’s going to take a few months.
