I noticed a hilarious coincidence in UK’s unofficial PlayStation mag “PlayStation Plus” lately. Lemme explain.
Like all of “Formula 1 ‘98“’s predecessors, this one was pretty buggy when released to the world. “PlayStation Plus” reviewed it next to the game “Buggy” by Gremlin and showed the gaming world foreshadowing things to come… a buggy “Formula 1 ‘98″ game

At least I find that funny

Nonetheless, the PlayStation 1 Database (not online yet) has this to say about “Formula 1 ‘98″:
When you press “Select” at the main menu then the following is displayed on-screen: “FORMULA ONE – 98 – BETA – 6.3.A – BUILD DATE OCT 12 1998″ – did they really release a beta version???

Whooo, another (at least to me) unknown Limited Edition of the French country variant of Tomb Raider II including a button for your denims, tattoos and stickers all packaged inside the regular jewel case. Text on the backside of the tattoo set however is French AND German, so maybe there is also a German version lurking somewhere.

Folks,
after having had the busiest time in the year at work and not posting anything usefull for quite some time, I just wanna let you know that I’m leaving for Egypt tomorrow and will be back on the 19th of June. Then I shall be relaxed enough to make contributions to this great website of ours again and I’m really looking forward to it. I just love PAL PlayStation 1 games and our little, friendly collecting community!!!

Actually this Limited Edition is often up on eBay. Release numbers must have been high. BUT this goes only for the French/German release, the English one funnily seems rarer.
